Orbital floor machines take floor care in a whole new direction. Unlike traditional swing machines, the straightforward motion requires little training. The rectangular design allows easy access to corners and hard to reach areas common to traditional floor buffers and floor machines.
CLASSIC VS. MILLENNIUM FLOOR MACHINES
Powr-Flite offers two lines of rotary floor machines - Classic Floor Machines and Millennium Floor Machines. The motors, components, and general performance are nearly identical between the two but the Millennium versions offer several small advantages.
1. The housing on the Millennium Floor Machines acts as a sound dampener which some users prefer.
2. The Millennium housing adds durability so over time bumps and dings are on the more flexible poly housing rather than an unforgiving metal housing.
3. Slots built into the side of the Millennium housing allow for additional airflow around the motor.
4. A ready-to-use porthole is available on the housing to feed solution lines from a front-mount solution tank.
While Powr-Flite offers 2 floor machine kits, the C171SD and NM171SD, that include our Light Duty sanding drivers you may also outfit your current floor machine with any of our three sandpaper driver options.

ABOUT PAD DRIVERS
When adding a pad driver to your floor machine there are two main options to choose from - a Tufted Pad Driver or a Polymeric Pad Driver.
The main difference is how the pad drivers hold onto the pad. A Tufted Pad Driver usings heavy 1/2" long polypropylene bristles to secure the pad. The Polymeric Pad Driver uses small hooks to grasp the floor pad.
Either option holds the floor pad to the driver and floor machine as well as the other. A Tufted Pad Driver is generally more durable since it is constructed from thicker material and allows for replaceable parts if something breaks. The Polymeric Pad Driver is usually the more economical choice.
