Extraction Chemicals
HOW TO CHOOSE:
Extraction chemicals run from a neutral pH to a high pH. High pH chemicals are often reserved for older or more soiled carpet. Neutral chemical typically packs enough punch for newer or lightly soiled carpet while not being overly aggressive and diminishing the life or color of the carpet.
In addition to choosing the right extraction chemical it is always recommended to add a small amount of defoam to the recovery tank of your carpet extractor. Doing this should prevent sudsy water from producing excess foam that can make its way to the motor housing and damage internal components.
