In a recent survey conducting by Powr-Flite, floor care professionals are finding the professional landscape changing and decreasing budgets more challenging. With customer expectations becoming more demanding along with a myriad of different floor types to keep up with, the floor care professional's job is becoming increasingly difficult.
In a positive note the evolution and development of better chemicals for carpet and hard floor care has benefited floor care professionals. The recent proliferation of green chemicals for sensitive environments is an example of this evolution.
Floor machines are a critical tool to the floor care professional. Over 70% of users said scrubbing and stripping were primary tasks for this equipment. Over 50% of respondents also said that burnishing, deep scrubbing, carpet shampooing and spray buffing were all important functions for floor machines as well.
